Census 2020 School Activities

The U.S. Census Bureau’s Statistics in Schools (SIS) program uses census data to create free classroom resources to educate students about the importance of a complete and accurate count of everyone living in the United States. Census information is used in the allocation of $675 billion in resources annually for our communities. When children are excluded from the count, there is less funding for schools and education programs.

SIS offers a wide variety of activities for pre-K through 12th-grade educators to use in all subjects. Check these out!

• Activities for grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12
• Activities for math, history and social studies, geography, English, and sociology
