Remembering Dylan Thomas
Eric Richardson and the staff of Complete Graphics Solutions designed and made a banner in memory of
Dylan Thomas, the Pike County football player who died from injuries received during a high school
football game. The banner was signed by the varsity football team and coaches and was sent to Pike
County High School.
Molly Richardson and the staff of Commerce Street Florist made a wreath in memory of Dylan. The
wreath was 5½’ in diameter and was covered with 100 red and white roses, carnations, and white
monte. In the center of the wreath was a #32 jersey, Dylan’s number, that was donated and signed by
the HHS varsity team and coaches. The wreath was presented to the Pike County football team Friday,
Oct 5, at the Ed Defore Sports Complex in Macon, where Pike was playing Rutland High School.
