Gifted Education

The Pulaski County School System is committed to the belief that each student has a right to receive an education based on individual needs. To meet the needs of gifted learners, our teachers modify the content, teaching strategies and expectations of student mastery in order to further develop students’ strengths and provide them with opportunities to reach their fullest potential.

In accordance with this philosophy, PCSS provides various programming options for students in grades 2-12 who have been identified as gifted using the criteria found in State Board of Education Rule 160-4-2-.38 EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR GIFTED STUDENTS and the Georgia Department of Education Resource Manual for Gifted Education Service.
