Washington Youth Tour

Representatives from Middle GA EMC and Ocmulgee EMC will be here on Friday, 13 January 2022 at 9:00 a.m in the media center to discuss requirements and the application process for the Washington Youth Tour. High school students are selected by the electric cooperatives in Georgia to represent our state as delegates on the Washington Youth Tour. This top-notch leadership experience and tour of Washington, D.C. includes meetings with state and national leaders and leadership training, as well as visits to all the major sights. Participants join over 1,400 other students from around the nation—all expenses paid—for one incredible week in our nation’s capital. Please contact the guidance office if you are unable to attend the meeting. All applicants must be 16 by June 15, 2023 to be eligible to attend.
